Combination Medicines: - These medicines contain a steroid and a long–acting bronchodilator (LABA).
- They work to keep the inflammation under control and the muscles relaxed.
- If you are using the Advair combination medicine you also need a Reliever medicine for quick relief of symptoms.
- The LABA Symbicort is also fast acting and it may be used as a Reliever.
- Side effects are the same as for long-acting bronchodilators and inhaled steroid medicines.
