There are two types of medicines used to treat your asthma

1. Controllers
2. Relievers

These medicines come in many different forms. Usually the best way  to take them is by breathing or inhaling them into the lungs. Good inhaler technique is important. You should not stop taking your asthma medicine without talking to your doctor.  The goal is to take only the medicine you need to control your asthma.
